| Renovations began in 1970 under the current owners and the hotel is at present wholly rebuilt, with the first floor retaining as much history as possible. The Pantall is a beautiful building which still has the charm of a 19th century hotel. The hotel's Coachlight Bar besides dates back to the 19th century, and it has undergone a thorough restoration. It even has the original bar in it. The Pantall is situated by the town park, the sight of many functions year round. Only across the park is the groundhog zoo. The staff is friendly, knowing and helpful, which oftentimes draws compliments from its guests. The guest rooms are all new and equipt with much nicer furnishing than you'll happen in most hotels. The rooms are not all the same, as in that location are six different color or print schemes for the drapes and bedding. The hotel is known for its cleanliness and attention to detail, where even the pillowcases and sheets have been ironed. It besides has a restaurant, known for its great food, with particular seasonal dishes. Punxsutawney is a particular place, where the citizens all aid one another, and they help their guests, as good. The Pantall Hotel is a great place to rest when visiting this unequalled and friendly town. |
